A Birthday in Barcelona

Today for a classmate’s birthday, she wanted to go to the Parque de la Ciutadela and rent a boat. The boat cost us 10 euros for all 5 of us to rent a small boat and paddle around a pond in the middle of the park for as long as we wanted.

Footbaths, Fountains & France!

Aix en Province is known as the City of a Thousand Fountains. In the late 1800s, some canals allowed water to run in the basins of the fountains of the city. At first, these fountains were made for its practicality.

Visiting the City of 1,000 Fountains

After a metro ride and a five-hour train ride from Barcelona, we finally arrived in the small town of Aix-en-Provence on Wednesday night. Aix-en-Provence is known as the “city of 1,000 fountains” and is located in the southern part of France.

Inside a Cava Winery

On Monday, we toured the ArtCava winery and bottled our own cava. When we arrive at the bus stop after a two-hour commute, we were greeted by our tour guide and brought to the winery itself.

Bravo for Costa Brava

Upon planning this trip to Barcelona, one thing we were looking forward to was the beaches. However, when we finally got to the beaches, we were met with many emotions, the first of which was slight disappointment.
