Study Abroad in South Korea

Visual communications junior Chloe (Hui) Penaflor is studying abroad at Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea as a Freeman-Asia Scholar.

Chloe was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States when she was two years old. 

Chloe’s goal is to tell stories in creative forms, whether through film and media, the arts or journalism.  She will use this blog to tell the story of her study abroad experience in South Korea.

It’s a completely different experience seeing things in person. From the famous Starfield Library, historical Gyeongbok Palace, lively Gwangjang Market, to the calming N Seoul Tower — these places all hold different experiences upon visit.
