Today was the day of activations — and if you’re anything like me, you didn’t even know what that word meant until today! Activations are essentially a form of advertising built around engaging consumers in the whole experience of a product or brand. Activations sell a feeling and a lifestyle. That can look anything like acai bowls and meditation VR at the Lululemon activation popup, to a cozy tiny home decked out with all of the latest smart home technology from Google Home. The sky is the limit in the world of activations and branding, and I walked away from each one feeling nothing short of inspired!
