While walking along the lower end of La Rambla, a monument can be found pointing towards the sea. The statue was constructed in honor of Christopher Columbus’s voyages, located at the port where he met the monarchs after his first voyage to America.

Among the crowds in Barcelona, you will find yourself on the metro, in restaurants and cafes, at the beach, and shopping. When you look down, you may be surprised to see four-legged friends trailing close behind their owners in these places you would not expect.
