A Bavarian Day In Lenggries

On Friday morning, after an hour long train ride into the Alps, our group reached what seemed to look like the inside of a Cuckoo clock. Being in the  town of Lenggries was like being Julie Andrews in “The Sound of Music.” A small group of us girls decided to roam around the village and see what the beautiful town had to offer. I spotted a thrift store that sold traditional German dirndls and tried on more than I can count. I chose my favorite dress and wore it for the rest of the day, taking as many pictures as possible. We ended the evening with some gelato and an unforgettable train ride back home.
