Today for a classmate’s birthday, she wanted to go to the Parque de la Ciutadela and rent a boat. The boat cost us 10 euros for all 5 of us to rent a small boat and paddle around a pond in the middle of the park for as long as we wanted. There were many other families and couples having a blast! It was great to see so many people out enjoying the beautiful weather. There were so many turtles, ducks, fish, and seagulls all in the pond. When we first visited the park, we were shown the big attraction, which is the big fountain with intricate details and ornate statues. I would have never known that a 2 minute walk deeper into the park was this pond! It was a lot of fun to sit and reminisce on our journey in Barcelona with some of my new best friends.
