Having the opportunity to experience the local lifestyle of Munich, Germany this past week has been absolutely thrilling. We hit the most famous parts of the city, walked around some of the oldest and most historical churches, and hung out at the most popular parks and gardens. However, one of the greatest pleasures of the city for me had to be the food. We ate at many traditional German restaurants and I discovered that my most favorite German dish has to be Spätzle. Spätzle is a type of Bavarian pasta made with egg noodles, onions, and parsley. I have had this dish at least three different times so far and it really never gets old. I am blown away by the freshness of all the food I’ve eaten in Germany and I am excited for my future eats. Now, onto the hunt for the best Spätzle in Berlin!
