The four-story ZARA in Barcelona is a store like no other. Filled with all types of styles, everyone is bound to find one thing they love. ZARA has all different types of accessories, business attire, casual clothes, perfume, and more. The ZARA building itself is beautiful. Glass tiles cover the ceiling in a unique and stunning pattern. The building was designed in 1931 and originally was the head office of Banco de Bilbao. There are murals painted in the stairwells, marble floors and staircases, all of which remain in great condition.
Because of the original architecture of the building, this ZARA has become one of the most popular across the globe. The store uses modern self-checkout bins and offers a unique way to display clothing. Items on display are hung on what resembles a clothes drying rack, next to a wooden box of lemons, showing off their new summer collection. We loved this ZARA because it was the perfect combination of modern and history.
