We arrived in Blanes, Spain ready to explore the sights and sounds of this beautiful place, not knowing of Marimutra or the beautiful gardens that Blanes was home to. We began by taking the trolley for 3 euros to get to the top of the hill, which is demonstrated in the featured image. We could not have expected the beautiful view that was waiting for us at the top of the hill. The Marimutra Garden was tucked away, but when we entered the sight was breathtaking. I knew Blanes was home to many beautiful botanical gardens, but my expectations were blown away by the views we encountered on this journey.

We approached the entrance, which made it seem like we were walking into a villa. The staff was very friendly and encouraged us to take pictures and enjoy the garden they are so proud of taking care of. It was so unique to see people so passionate in their garden, and inspired me a lot. You don’t see people with this kind of pride and passion in America. Checking out the Botanical Gardens in Blanes is a must for tourists worldwide.
