Italian Flavors, Iberian Views

Coming to Lisbon, we knew there would be good food, but nothing prepared us for the amazing experience and lasting memories that we would indulge in at the Pastaria restaurant. Experiencing a taste of authentic Italy in Portugal was not what we were expecting, but we were grateful that it happened.

On our first night, after quite a search, we stumbled upon a tiny “pasteria” that turned out to be the highlight of our stay. After struggling to find a place that could accommodate our group of ten, the pasta restaurant welcomed us with smiling faces from Colombia, Switzerland, France, and more.

The staff gladly arranged a long table for us to sit at, and we were soon enjoying fresh, warm focaccia with pesto and burrata. The pasta that followed was incredible, made fresh, twice a day, by a chef trained in Paris. The meal ended with complimentary limoncello shots shared with the staff, making it a memorable and delicious experience. As we left the restaurant for our next adventure, we had all agreed that this might be the best restaurant in Lisbon.
