A glance into the secret Labyrinth

Just a thirty minute train ride outside of Barcelona you will find the most beautiful place – Parc del Laberint d’Horta. As you wonder through the scenic atmosphere, you will encounter the lush greenery of the maze. Successfully navigating to the center you will find Eros. There it is rumored to bring you true love (considering, he is the Greek god of love!).

The city is known for its active and engaged lifestyle. The secret labyrinth provides a new change of pace from the typical busy lifestyle. At this park you will enter into the most serene environment. Here, you can find Desvalls Palace and a number of pavilions and temples. This historical garden designed in the late 18th century by Domenico Bagutti and completed by Joseph Delvalet was commissioned by Joan Antoni Desvalls I d’Ardena Marquis of Llupia as a retreat and display of his wealth. These grounds fully capture the perfect combination of neoclassical styles with Gothic Moorish touches. These include pointed arches, sophisticated geometric patterns, and colorful tiles. Each piece of architecture exemplifies the beauty of precision and little details. A visit to Parc del Laberint d’Horta is a must see during your trip!
